Two of Kenya’s biggest stadiums, the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani and Nyayo National Stadium, are still unfit to host any international match.This is after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) omitted the two grounds from the list of CAF pre-approved stadiums for the 2022/2023 interclub football campaign.The news of the omission comes as no surprise as the African football governing body had in 2021 banned Kasarani and Nyayo from being used after failing to meet the threshold.Kenya does NOT have a stadium that meets CAF standards to host CAF inter-club competitions.
