Decorated defender Calabar looking to add another cup victory with Napsa Stars

Ahead of their Charity Shield clash against Red Arrows, Kenyan international David ‘Calabar’ Owino is looking to add another cup success under his belt with Napsa Stars.Napsa won the Absa Cup last season after beating Red Arrows while the latter landed the league title for the second time in their history to set the Charity Shield tie.Calabar’s presence in Police FC’s camp explainedCalabar who is a double Charity Shield champion during his time at Zesco United revealed that he is looking to bolster his CV with another cup success.“I’ve played four times, lost two and won two. My first time was back when I joined Zesco where we played against Power Dynamos and I was lucky to score two which made us win the first cup. Cup competitions are always important because there is something at stake. Winning the Cup will be good for my CV. We will give it our best in the match because it really counts. We want to start on a high and hopefully we will come out victorious in the first game.
