To keep him or not, Montreal boss discusses Wanyama’s future

CF Montreal Sporting Director Olivier Renard has hinted that they are keen on keeping hold of Victor Wanyama beyond December 2022 with the midfielder having four months left in his contract with the club.The former Harambee Stars captain has been with the Canadian Major Soccer League side for the last three years and will be out of contract in December, throwing his future in the air. According to Renard, Wanyama brought a lot of things to the dressing room. He described him as a lovely person in the dressing room.“These are discussions that I must have with him. It will happen soon. Victor is a lovely person in the locker room. He brought a lot of things.
