Golf Equipment 2022: Callaway, Ping, PXG, Scotty Cameron, TaylorMade and other late-season releases

Traditionally, the busiest time on the golf equipment calendar is January and February because that is when the new PGA Tour season used to start (and will again in 2024), and they like to have new gear to talk about at the PGA Merchandise Show, which is held at the end of January. But over the last few years, more and more brands have opted to release some gear in the middle of summer to create buzz and ensure that something special has a chance to capture some attention instead of getting mixed in with all the other new releases.

This summer, while your air conditioner was working hard and you were busy playing, several brands released exciting gear. To be sure you’re in the know, we have put together this list of late-season releases, and be sure to follow our equipment guru, David Dusek, on Twitter and Instagram, to keep up with the fall’s new gear happenings too.
