La Liga and Zambia’s Zanaco sign strategic partnership agreement

La Liga and Zambian giants Zanaco Football Club have announced a partnership that will see the Spanish professional league transfer its football expertise and knowledge to Zanaco Football Club’s coaches.This is the third agreement between La Liga and a major African club after similar strategic consultancy and business partnerships with Tanzanian champions Yanga SC and Angolan champions Petro Atletico de Luanda, and further showcases La Liga’s continued commitment to the growth and development of African football at all levels.The sports consultancy partnership between La Liga and Zanaco was signed in Lusaka and will see physical coaching sessions run twice a year at Zanaco Football Club by La Liga coaches, the first of which will be held in September this year.It will be followed up with a series of digital monitoring sessions and a football and business exchange between the parties, as La Liga continues to demonstrate its international leadership in football management.“We are delighted to conclude this partnership agreement with Zanaco Football Club, which again affirms La Liga’s ambition of contributing tangibly to the development of African football and to a strong and sustainable global sports industry.
