Out-of-sorts Talanta turn to axed FKF PL players to salvage bleak top flight future

Financially crippled FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) side, FC Talanta have begun their rebuilding process after losing a big chunk of their players to rivals in the last few weeks by bringing on board seasoned players for trials.The Communication Authority backed team, that’s currently facing some serious financial turmoil has lost a number of players due to nonpayment of salaries. The departees include Thomas Wainaina and Michael Bodo who have both joined Bidco, Francis Kahiro who is now in the books of KCB, Vincent Otieno who returned to Fortune Sacco while some key players are yet to resume training due to salary and bonus arrears.The club conducted trials last week to recruit new players and among players who are now training with the team is ex Kenya Police FC duo of Arvin Odoyo and Alex Luganji. Talanta’s first league assignment will be against newly promoted Fortune Sacco FC before they take on Posta Rangers and later Nairobi City Stars.
