Experienced custodian Kevin Otieno has parted with Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side FC Talanta following the expiry of his contract. Otieno who had been the first choice goalkeeper at Talanta ran out his two-year long deal with the club and will be hoping to make a move before the transfer window closes.The transfer window according to the FKF Transition Committee is supposed to close by the end of next week, however it remains to be seen whether the body will extend it for the second time having pushed back the dates set for the start of the competition.##NAJAVA_MECA_6615454##The shot stopper who was among the crop of players who helped the club gain automatic promotion to the top flight last year played a total of 26 matches in the past season and kept nine cleansheets.The former Nairobi City Stars man revealed that efforts to secure extension at Talanta were futile but expressed optimism that his experience in the top flight and the second tier will procure him a move.”I am currently a free agent after running out my contract at Talanta.
