The Football Kenya Federation Transition Committee postponed the league kickoff once again but Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya sees the move as a positive for his side.Sharks witnessed a mass exodus in the current transfer window with majority of the first team players ditching the side for greener pastures.David Ouma happy with Sofapaka’s pre-season progressMuluya noted that the postponement of the league which will now kick off on Saturday 24 September will hand him more time to prepare for the new season with a lot of new faces on his side.“With the postponement of the season we had to rearrange the program and we had to pre-plan for the league once again.undefinedUntil the league kicks off we will be preparing but again for someone like me, I can’t really refute it, it gives me more time to sharpen and do the best I can to be ready,” said Muluya.Sharks played out to a 1-1 draw with Sofapaka on Saturday in a pre-season friendly as they continue with their preparations for the new season.Muluya was impressed with his side’s performance in the game as the boys executed some of his tactics but admitted that some showed some anxiety.Gor Mahia coach lauds youngsters again!“It was a good game, they were playing against the big boys and they tried to show that they understand the things that we have been working on for the past few days.There might be some sort of anxiety but the players are also eager to learn more as we continue to prepare for the season,” added Muluya.
