Nyakha defers FKF Premier League return after failing to recover in time

Former AFC Leopards midfielder Harun Nyakha has given up on his plan of returning to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League scene this year after failing fitness tests.The combative midfielder was looking to return to the top tier in the forthcoming season after spending the last three terms in the second tier with Dandora Love.However, he will be forced to defer his dream at least for now after failing to recover fully from a fracture he suffered on his arm in March while turning for the second tier club.##NAJAVA_MECA_6615472##The former Nakumatt FC midfielder revealed that the doctor advised him to stay away from competitive football for the remaining bit of the year in order to concentrate on his recovery.”Unfortunately, I will not be involved in active football in the remainder of the year. I thought and felt that I had recovered fully from the fracture but the doctor advised otherwise. It is frustrating considering that I was hoping to return to the top flight this year but there is little I can do, “he said.Nyakha who suffered relegation from the top tier with Mt.Kenya United in 2019 ventured into coaching after suffering the injury. Mt. Kenya United rebranded to Dandora Love in June last year.The midfielder assumed the head coach roles at Dandora at some point in the past season before the club dramatically pulled out of the competition.Nyakha salivating for at FKF PL return after three years in the second tierHe says he will continue nurturing upcoming players for the time he will be out.
