AFC Leopards book date with Police as pre-season training gathers steam

Twelve-time Kenyan champions AFC Leopards will play Kenya Police FC in a pre-season friendly match on Wednesday at the Nyayo National Stadium as they continue their preparations for the upcoming season.The Football Kenya Federation Premier League is set kick off on September 24, but it remains uncertain whether the same will go on as planned following an announcement last year that the FKF President Nick Mwendwa was back at the helm.Aussems hints at throwing more youngsters into the deep endInitially, the FKF transition committee had sent September 10 as the league kick off date but pushed it by two more weeks to allow teams to conduct their transfer business as well as allow time for the referees to undergo a Physical Endurance Test.However, the postponement has not prevented teams from playing high-profile friendly matches to stay sharp, with Ingwe and Police now being the next in line on Wednesday.”We will play FKF-PL side Kenya Police FC on Wednesday (14-09-2022) at Nyayo Stadium.
