Kenya Police FC head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omolo has welcomed the return of Duke Abuya to his fold but admits that they will miss Ethiopia-bound Clifton Miheso.The winger, who was second in the scoring chart in the league last season with 16 goals is expected to join Ethiopia’s Wolkite FC after striking a deal with the top-tier outfit.The law enforcers have however been boosted by the return of midfielder Duke Abuya. The attacking midfielder was expected to join Singida Big Stars of Tanzania bust a last-minute hitch saw the deal fall through. He is back in the country and has been training with Pamzo’s charges in readiness for the new season.The tactician, who is recovery from a back surgery is happy to have the creative midfielder back with the team. He admits that Miheso’s absence will be felt but hopes that new signing David Okoth who was acquired from Kakamega Homeboyz will fill the void left by the Kenyan international.“Duke had left but I am glad that he is back, we will be with him next season. The biggest loss is Miheso because last season he scored 15 goals for us, it is a blow but I think that we have recruited well. We now have David Okoth who will be taking his place and against AFC Leopards he played very well,” the tactician said.##NAJAVA_MECA_6651595##Asked about his team’s 2022/23 season targets, the Pamzo said his team will be in tittle contention and termed a top three finish as the bear minimum.“We have a target as a team for next season. Last season which was our debut season we finished in the ninth position and we are now saying that next season we have to finish in the top three positions, that will be a good performance if we meet that target,” he added.The law enforcers will play Bidco United in a friendly match on Saturday at the Nyayo National Stadium.
