Sharks confirm signing of Migori Youth prodigy

FKF Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks have confirmed the signing of midfielder Tyson Omondi from Migori Youth for an undisclosed period of time.The midfield enforcer becomes the latest player to join Sharks who are beefing up their squad ahead of the new season that starts on 22nd October as per FKF President Nick Mwendwa.Omondi has been training with Sharks for weeks now and he has finally inked a deal with the side as confirmed by the club through a statement posted on their social media pages.“Tyson Omondi is a done deal. The former Musingu High School hard man joins from Migori Youth,” read the statement from the club.##EDITORS_CHOICE##Omondi becomes Sharks’ ninth signing after the club confirmed the arrival of Gideon Ogweno, Kevin Luke Otiala, Paul Odhiambo, Titus Kapchanga, Dan Guya, Kevin Wangaya, Moses Shikanda, LeonLevitt Otieno.Coach William Muluya has been on a robust rebuilding process after losing a bog chunk of players who were part of the team last season. Those who left include; Eric Mmata, Tom Teka, Boniface Onyango, Brian Olang, Brandon Obiero, Samul Olwande, Patilah Omoto, Felix Oluoch, Steve Ochieng, Douglas Mokaya among others.The team is currently part of the club staking part in the Elite Pre-season Cup that is being played at the Utalii and Annex Grounds. They opened the tournament with a barren draw against Sofapaka on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday they return to action against Bidco United in what will be their second assignment.
