Sofapaka’s Sebastian Sunday lost theball in his own half, with Henry Juma picking it and spreading it to Emmanuel Mogaka on the right. Mogaka cut it back for Samuel Ndung’u who then hammered home to break the deadlock.Sofapaka’s attempt to go level before the break were futile with Baron Oketch blasting a couplevof attempts over and Ambrose Sifuna finding it hard to go past Geoffrey Kariuki on the right side of Sofapaka’s attack.Towards the end of the first half, Anthony Akhulia made two changes for Bidco, bringing in Michael Bodo for the seemingly injured Mogaka as well as David Orem for John Nairuka.HT: Bidco United Lead at the break#ElitePreSeasonCup pic.twitter.com/wA1mBRjZoH— Kariobangi Sharks FC (@k_sharksfc) September 26, 2022 On resumption, David Ouma made a change to add to his striking options, bringing in Lucky Musyoki for Nixon Omondi, pushing Titus Achesa back to his usual position at left back.Second half substitutes Ezekiel Okare and Lameck Oloo combined for Bidco’s second moments after coming on, Oloo looping the ball behind the defence and Okare beating the defenders to the ball, and slamming it past Simon Masaka. The duo could have combined for a third, Okare hitting Oloo’s cross one time but Masaka stretched fully to deny him.Bidco kept the ball, knocking it around at ease as Sofapaka struggled to at least get a goal back to no avail.Bidco United Starting XI: Edwin Mukolwe, David Kalama, Geoffrey Kariuki, Francis Oduor, Gilbert Wandera, Peter Nzuki, John Nairuka, Henry Juma, Samuel Ndung’u, Emmanuel Mogaka, David GateriSubs: Melvin Nderitu, Lambert Otieno, Kassim Mwinyi, Lameck Oloo, Said Tsuma, Michael Bodo, David Orem, Stephen Waruru, Ezekiel Okare, Eric GichimuSofapaka Starting XI: Simon Masaka, Samuel Olwande, Nixon Omondi, Stephen Okola, David Nshimirimana, Roy Okal, Geoffrey Ojunga, Sébastien Sunday, Ambrose Sifuna, Titus Achesa, Baron OketchSubs: Kevin Omondi, David Obasanjo, David Oteino, Alex Imbusia, Raphael Asudi, Joseph Waithera, Ronack Otieno, Lucky Musyoka, Kevin Okoth, David Kasiyrie
