Pamzo happy to have starman Miheso back

Kenya Police FC head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omolo is happy with the return of forward Clifton Miheso to the team after two weeks of trials in Ethiopia. The Harambee Stars forward was expected to join Wolkite Ketema in the Ethiopian top tier but he has since rejoined Police and was named on the bench on Tuesday during his side’s 5-1 win over MCF in the Elite Pre-season Cup at the Kasarani Annex. In an earlier interview, Pamzo had admitted that the exit of last season’s club top scorer would be a massive blow for his club. The attacker scored 15 goals, only former KCB attacker Derrick Otanga (16) scored more. The tactician has disclosed that Miheso was in fact in Ethiopia for trials but did not impress his potential new employer and is now back with the team.“Miheso went for trials in Ethiopia, he was there for two weeks but according to him things didn’t work out but now he is our player again,” he said.Kenya Police FC forward Clifton Miheso is set to join Ketema FC in Ethiopia.Miheso was second in the scorers’ chart with 15 goals last season.#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/y6KG4TnU79— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) September 7, 2022 The tactician added that he is happy to have the star player back in the team because of his undoubted quality.”Let me tell you, this is a blessing in disguise I am really, really happy that he is back because that we all know what Miheso brings into the team,”.Miheso however has work to do before he be back to his best as according to his coach he is not fully ready for action.”The only thing that I noticed is that he is not match-fit because he trained with us on Monday but he is definitely in my program,” he added.Miheso could be involved on Thursday when his team takes on Bidco United in an Elite Cup semifinal match at the Kasarani Annex.Elite Cup set for semis
