The Confederation of African Football has formally communicated its decision to strip Guinea of the 2025 African Cup of Nations hosting rights over the nation’s unpreparedness for the biannual tournament.Earlier last month, the continental body had expressed dissatisfaction with the preparedness of the country that experienced a coup in September 2021 and is currently under military leader Mamady Doumbouya.
