The biggest surprise of Serie A keep on with their fairytale

Udinese came from behind to win 2-1 away to Hellas Verona, making it six victories in a row – the first time the club have achieved this feat in their history.Hellas Verona looked keen on ending Udinese’s winning streak from the off. With a raucous home crowd behind them, the attacking force of Roberto Piccoli and Thomas Henry caused the visitors headaches at the back. However, it was a stunner from wing-back Josh Doig that ultimately set the hosts on their way to a halftime lead. A headed clearance deep into the Udinese box fell into the path of the defender, and without hesitation Doig swung his left foot at the ball on the volley and arrowed his shot into the bottom corner to set the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi alight. The Bianconeri would not go lying down however. With Gerard Deulofeu pulling the strings from the front, the away side poured the pressure on the Verona backline after the break, and were finally rewarded for their efforts with twenty minutes remaining. Registering his sixth assist of the season, Deulofeu picked out Beto in a dangerous area, and the Portuguese forward stabbed home to level the score. It looked like both sides were going to have to settle for a point each until the stunning comeback was complete in the 93rd minute, when Jaka Bijol headed home from a free-kick in stoppage to snatch all three points for the visitors at the death, and extend their winning streak to six straight games. With only one win in their last ten games, Hellas will be bitterly disappointed to not hold on to their lead after a fantastic first half performance. To make matters worse, the Gialloblu find themselves stuck in the bottom three of the Serie A table after eight rounds played. Whilst Udinese made it six wins a row, and seven unbeaten in total, continuing their fantastic start to the season.SERIE A – ROUND 8SaturdayNapoli – Torino 3-1 (3-1)/Anguissa 6, 12, Kvaratskhelia 37 – Sanabria 44/Inter – Roma 1-2 (1-1)/Dimarco 30 – Dybala 39, Smalling 75/Empoli – Milan 1-3 (0-0)/Bajrami 90+2 – Rebic 80, Ballo-Toure 90+4, Leao 90+7/SundayLazio – Spezia 4-0 (2-0)/Zaccagni 12, Romagnoli 24, Milinkovic-Savic 62, 90+1/Lecce – Cremonese 1-1 (1-1)/Strefezza 42 – Ciofani 19 pen/Sampdoria – Monza 0-3 (0-1)/Pessina 11, Caprari 67, Sensi 90+4/Sassuolo – Salernitana 5-0 (2-0)/Lauriente 12, Pinamonti 39, Thorstvedt 53, Harroui 76, Antiste 90+1/Atalanta – Fiorentina 1-0 (0-0)/Lookman 59/Juventus – Bologna 3-0 (1-0)/Kostic 24, Vlahovic 59, Milik 62/MondayVerona – Udinese 1-2 (1-0)/Doig 23 – Beto 70, Bijol 90+3/
