Sofapaka FC head coach David Ouma noted positives in his side’s friendly match against KCB that was staged at the KCB leadership Center on Sunday morning. The match between the two sides ended in a barren although it is a game that the Bankers feel they should have won as they created a couple of goal-scoring chances. Batoto ba Mungu on the other hand were rock solid at the back in particular thwarting the Bankers’ attacks.##NAJAVA_MECA_6724263##At the end of 90 minutes, there were no goals to separate the two sides. For Ouma however, there were positives to note in the game. The tactician is happy with how they coped with Zedekiah Otieno’s side pressing despite the side enjoying some home advantage.“I am happy with my team because they contained KCB’s pressing well throughout the game at their home ground. They (KCB) understand the dimension and geography of the pitch and it was some form of advantage for them but all in all, we did well, I am happy with the boys,” he said.“They put us under immense pressure particularly in the first half but we did well. Playing a team like KCB and not conceding is a sign that we are doing well in terms of team cohesion and how we defend,”.Apart from containing the Bankers’ attacks, Ouma was also contested with how they stuck to their playing style by building from the back but once again, he rued the chances that they failed to make count.“We also played well from the back, my defenders tried to play from the back and it was something positive to one. The only downside is we did utilize our chances up front, this was a game of moments but we did not make our attacking moments count, it is an area we have to improve on,” he added.Sizzling Michael Olunga scores 10th Cup goal as Duhail top group
