After seeing his goal chalked off by Video Assistant Referee (VAR), Kenyan forward Jonah Ayunga has revealed he will not be in a rush to celebrate his goals.The 25-year-old has hit the ground running in the Scottish Premier League for his club St. Mirren since his move from English League One club Morecambe, scoring six goals thus far this season.Ayunga earns praise after impressive display in ScotlandAyunga who netted against Dundee United in their 2-1 win saw VAR overrule his goal after Keanu Baccus was judged to have fouled Aziz Behich in the build-up to the goal as he revealed he will not be celebrating his goals.“I won’t bother celebrating next time in case they pull it back. Sometimes in your head when you score you think there could be something wrong with it, but with that one I didn’t think there was. I watched it all the way, made sure I was onside for the pass and obviously scored.A few people got up (for Greive’s winner), I didn’t move. I thought they were going to check it for something. I think we can do better, personally myself and as a group as well,” Ayunga told Daily Record.The Brighton and Hove Albion academy graduate has been instrumental for St. Mirren and scored in the infamous win over Celtic which stands as their only defeat this season.Ayunga added that he saw little wrong with Keanu Baccus’ foul and wondered why the goal was struck off with the foul taking place from the middle of the pitch which was long after he scored.“It’s a weird one because we watched the Celtic game and VAR was involved a lot in that, and it was allowed a lot in our game. There was a lot of checking stuff. As players, as fans, you’re thinking what is actually being looked at.Especially with the disallowed goal, you can’t see anything wrong with it in the build up and it gets pulled up all the way back to half way.
