Namwamba offers hope on football suspension after meeting Infantino

Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has once again provided hope that Kenya’s football suspension could soon be coming to an end after meeting with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Secretary General Fatma Samoura and CAF President Patrice Motsepe on Thursday in Qatar.Although specific details of the meeting remain scanty, it is expected that the debilitating indefinite suspension imposed on Kenya by the world football governing body back in February this year topped the agenda of Namwamba’s sit-down with the football executives.##NAJAVA_MECA_6834001##In a post on his official social media pages, the former Budalangi Member of Parliament shared pictures of the meeting with a caption congratulating both Qatar and FIFA for staging the ongoing 2022 World Cup.“Met in Doha today FIFA President Gianni Infantino, General Secretary Fatma Samoura and CAF President Patrice Motsepe.
