Mutiny at West Ham: Forget the cat, Zouma is the highest earner in the club

The cats abuse by Kurt Zouma is getting a new twist on a daily basis. The things are moving for worse every day, and soon, gallows should be expected, or at least a guillotine (he is French after all) at the London tower, to finish him off and end his misery. On a more serious note, the hype around Zouma and West Ham over the abused cats is not going to go away any time soon. After losing two sponsors due to Frenchman’s behavior, the Hammers are now facing a ‘mutiny’ from other senior players due to player’s wage. Antonio: ’Is what Zouma did worse than racism?’After the video came out, the club decided to punish Zouma with the biggest possible fine – two weeks wages, which have been donated to the RSPCA, and organization which took his cats away. RSPCA acknowledged this, and published the story, stating that they received 38 million Ksh, which means Zouma’s wage is 19 million Ksh a week, easily the highest in the club.  Club’s best scorer Michail Antonio recently signed a new contract and he still earns less (around 15 million), while all others, including Decklan Rice (the captain), Tomas Soucek, Pablo Fornals and Vladimir Coufal earn significantly less. Kurt Zouma will be prosecuted within days as RSPCA inspectors handle their probe “at an incredible pace”.More than 500,000 petition has been signed in UK for Zouma to be prosecuted. pic.twitter.com/uTsXTtXPkj— COBHAM REPORTER💻 (@COBHAMRpt247) February 11, 2022 According to Daily Mail, the Frenchman’s colleagues have rallied around the defender in light of the vilification of him that has followed the emergence of the video. West Ham’s players believe the fierce clamour for Zouma to face huge punishment and the severity that some are calling for is out of proportion, but some of them will surely ask for a pay rise, considering their role in the club.(2.85) LEICESTER (3.40) WEST HAM (2.60)Outside the club, the pressure grows. Over 500.000 people (and counting) have signed a petition calling for legal action to be taken against West Ham footballer. Former goalkeeper Chris Kirkland vent even further, demanded Zouma to be sacked by West Ham, saying he would not play with the defender and that he expected his career in England was over, and that what he did was ‘worse than racism’. Zouma fined, cats taken away, club loses sponsorMeanwhile, the FA will not pursue any disrepute charge against Zouma because the incident is not related to football. While it is understood FA chiefs are privately condemning the defender’s actions, the governing body will not be taking it any further. And even the presidential candidates in his native France have commented on the case. The far right candidate Marine Le Pen also condemned Zouma’s actions.
