Bidco United arrested their slump after brushing aside Nairobi City Stars 2-0 with head coach Anthony Akhulia looking to build on the win when they take on Nzoia Sugar FC.The Thika-based club had endured a wretched run that had seen them clock six games without collecting a win but did so in style against Simba wa Nairobi.Akhulia refuses to castigate FKFPL referees in the wake of widespread acrimonySpeaking to Mozzart Sport, Akhulia noted that he is looking to build on their win over City Stars but anticipates a tough match against Nzoia Sugar.“We can build on that win (against City Stars), having that we are going away to Nzoia and see how it goes, we need nothing short of a win.It will be a very difficult match as they will be enjoying the home advantage but with that said we only need to win so that we move up the table,” said Akhulia.Since installing Salim Babu as the new head coach, Nzoia have turned around their fortunes as he is yet to suffer defeat, registering two draws and a similar number of wins.Akhulia emphasized the importance of getting victory over City Stars after enduring two months without a win which equalled their longest run without victory in the top flight.Babu explains the inspiration behind Nzoia’s recent good run“The victory was very important because we had gone six matches without winning and that is unlike us, we have been hoping and finally came,” added Akhulia.Bidco’s clash against Nzoia is slated for a 3 PM kick-off at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.
